Accessibility

Include Everyone, Exclude No-one

 

It's one of the big things, website accessibility. It's the first thing to use to differentiate between those who know about web design and those that don't.

I put all my sites through standards compliance testing. If they pass that then they are near as damn it accessible. If you wanted to go totally OTT on accessibility then you can - but generally speaking, that is more than sufficient for the level of compliance I try to adhere to.
