What do these terms really mean, and more importantly what do they mean to you?
I'm Steve Neale, a leading freelance internet specialist based in Hucknall, Nottingham. I do all sorts of stuff from basic websites to whizzy singing systems, from simple web copy proofing to psychologically loaded content designed to convert interest to sales.
wow. sounds impressive huh?
Let's not beat about the bush. You're here because either you don't have a website or your website ain't working. Or perhaps your web support is lacking, erm, enthusiasm.
Ok, so why stay here? Well if I namedrop a few household names like Barclaycard, Barclays, Experian, Nat West and British Airways that sounds impressive eh? So I kinda know my stuff and I did pretty well for them and I can do the biz for you.
The web is changing and you've got to change with it. Bring content together from a variety of sources that is relevant to your business. Try to position yourself as a hub or an authority or be confined to the 'other pages' of the internet.
But you're probably not a multi billion pound corporate. Hopefully you're a local small business, needing one of the best people in the region to look after you. You need someone who understands the importance of a well designed website and search engine optimsation, how and what web 2.0 is and what it means to people like us, after all I'm in this boat too and I'm doing okay so I'm doing something right.
The internet has grown up. It's all about going back to basics - it's about what you've got; either to say or to sell, or both. It's about being found and people finding you, it's about reputation and that reputation spreading.

This great service is one of my own little brainwaves - keeping the Christmas dream of Santa alive for kids is hard - this makes it easy.
It's really quite simple - send a text message as though it is from Santa - that means changing the 'from' from being a number to a name.....it's easy when you know how & who.
Oh, unfortunately there's a picture of me too......damn.
The choice was to rewrite an existing site that was being penalised for black hat SEO or to start from scratch.
So starting from scratch it was - and here it is with some nice little features like using google maps API to show recommended practice routes and areas.
