New Projects
new stuff i'm working on....some of it
I don't always get time to update this site (it's funny how some web developers have time to update their sites daily...maybe I should charge more and work less so I can too. Only kidding)
Anyway, a few things I'm up to at present include:
Message-from-angels :
site: www.message-from-angels.com
This is neat. This is a really good idea and a good thing. Sometimes I get the chance to do something that actually doesn't have much of a commercial edge but a community edge and social edge. A feel good factor I suppose. This site is one I've done in partnership with a talented local enigma who goes by the name Nick Emm...actually it is his real name I just wanted to big him up in case he read this.
The site enables people to send text messages, more precisely Angel Prayer messages, to friends/family etc. It's aimed at those who want to cheer someone else up, or provide some support or comfort. It's unique in that people receive their message not from 0798xxxxxxx but from 'The Angels'. The prayers have been received by leaders in this field so the whole thing is within this community and aims to be a valuable service for those leading it and part of it.
Message-from-Santa
site: www.message-from-santa.co.uk
This is along the same lines - sending SMS messages - but is aimed at helping keep the idea of Santa alive, as well as using the concept of Santa to help keep the kids under 'control' and even for grown ups to help make friends, get closer to certain friends and well, generally just have fun too. This site launches November '07.
Other Stuff
I've been stacked up with doing the SEO for DCM, which explains why they've got page 1 rankings on google for some prime keyphrases like debt advice nottingham, credit card debt and many more. Important? you bet. w/c 15 October they appeared on Sky News....why? because the interviewer found them on Google as the HIGHEST placed debt management firm. Bingo. One in the eye for those other firms spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on over-rated agencies!
